Sibur’s ZapSibNeftekhim complex in Tobolsk, in Russia’s Tyumen region, was damaged in a drone attack on Monday, Reuters reported. No liquefied gas volumes from the Tobolsk terminal were offered for sale on the Saint Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange. Industry participants estimate that around half of the liquefied gas produced at the facility is used as feedstock for petrochemical production at Sibur’s integrated complex in Tobolsk. The attack was previously reported by Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces, which said Ukrainian drones had struck the ZapSibNeftekhim complex after traveling more than 2,000 kilometers.
