Hudson Valley Driver Ticketed After Going Well Over Taconic Speed LimitThe Speed Enforcement Campaign is a "high-visibility statewide enforcement effort" meant to "curb speeding and prevent avoidable crashes caused by unsafe speed." A driver was ticketed during Speed Week 2 going 110mph in a 55mph zone on the Taconic. The New York State Police write "During Speed Week enforcement in Troop K, a Trooper stopped a vehicle traveling 110 mph on the Taconic State Parkway, where the posted speed limit is 55 mph."
