The all-star team from the Sweetwater Valley Little League will try to move one victory away from advancing to the World Series when it faces its counterpart from Kawaihau Community Little League Tuesday evening in San Bernardino. The Bonita-based team opened play in the West Regional Sunday with a 16-4 victory over the all-star team from the San Ramon Valley Little League, the Northern California champion, at Al Houghton Stadium, where the entire tournament is being played.
