Their U12 Mix and U8 Mix teams also secured wins, defeating Nikao 7-3 and 7-2 respectively. Matavera also recorded 3-0 results in the Senior Women's and U10 Mix divisions, while their U6 Mix side defeated Nikao 3-0. The grassroots matches were much closer, with the U12 Mix teams drawing 1-1, Avatiu winning the U10 Mix 5-3 and the U8 Mix teams sharing the points after a 3-3 draw. Tupapa’s U12 Mix team also claimed a 6-2 victory, with further wins coming in the U10 Mix, U8 Mix and U18 Men's divisions.
