A first-time meeting with the Memphis Redbirds is one of the highlights of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders' 2027 schedule, which was released Tuesday morning. The franchise, which also announced it will have a new nickname for the 2027 season, never played the Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals in its 37-year history. However, that will change when Scranton/Wilkes-Barre visits AutoZone Park in Tennessee for a six-game series May 11-16. This season, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre made its first visit in June to Indianapolis since 2019 and split six games. Two weeks ago, the team went to Iowa for the first time since 1990 and swept a six-game series.
