Later, Tim realised that his cousin had left his wallet and drove back to Richie's to give it back. Soon, DS Lisa Connor-Swain calls round and confirms that they’ve charged Richie with the murder of his wife. Lisa informs Tim and Sally that his daughter, Lucy, has been taken into care, while Richie claims he acted in self-defence.
