Luis Garrow, who is from the city, will star as Andrew Carnegie in a new musical about the legendary philanthropist and steel king at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
He first played a young Andrew Carnegie at the age of 12 in an earlier version of the production.
"A lot of hard work, sweat and tears has gone into bringing the musical to life but at the same time it’s has been a lot of fun."
Carnegie charts the industrialist’s journey from humble beginnings in Dunfermline to his rise in America’s steel industry and legacy as a towering figure of philanthropy.
The production is written and co-produced by Ian Hammond Brown, who previously found success with Whisky Galore: A Musical at Pitlochry Festival Theatre.
