According to a news release from the Dubuque Fire Department, a Monday evening fire caused an estimated $65,000 in property damage to a detached garage at a residence on Bluebird Drive in Dubuque. Firefighters and emergency personnel arrived within three minutes and found smoke coming from a detached garage next to a residential structure. According to the Dubuque Fire Department, the fire was brought under control within three minutes of firefighters arriving at the scene. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Dubuque Fire Department, and additional details may be released as the investigation continues. Units arriving on scene included: Battalion 1, Engine 2, Engine 3, Engine 6, Truck 1, Truck 4, Medic 4 and Car 6.
