Virginia T. Evans, age 99 of Rockwood, went to her Heavenly home on Sunday, August 9th, 2026. After she retired from the state, she was involved in the operations of Evans Mortuary with her son and late husband since 1976. She is preceded in death by her parents: Charlie Teague & Alma Keith Teague; husband: Thomas R. “Bob” Evans Sr; brother: Jimmie “Bud” Teague; daughter-in-law: Hyda Evans. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 13th, 2026, from 5:00 pm ET – 8:00 pm ET at Evans Mortuary. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mrs. Virginia T. Evans.
