The case has achieved a national profile, with some of the public embracing Mangione as a populist cult hero amid frustration with the healthcare industry. Justice Gregory Carro issued the Tuesday order to keep the jurors anonymous, in a bid to protect them from harassment or improper influences, The Hill reported. Instead, he is set to face state-level charges in New York, with the trial set to begin Sept. 8.
