25 firefighters rush to Kings Norton blazeA large fire has broken out in Gildas Avenue, as fire crews battle multiple blazes across the West Midlands this eveningView Image The fire has broken out in Gildas Avenue (Image: Google)Around 25 firefighters have rushed to the scene of a large fire in Birmingham this evening. ‌West Midlands Fire Service (WMFS) said it has sent five crews - totalling an estimated 25 firefighters - to the scene. ‌A spokesperson for WMFS said: "We have five crews in attendance at Gildas Avenue, Kings Norton, Birmingham, where they have responded to a a large fire. Meanwhile, four crews - totalling an estimated 20 firefighters - have attended a large grassland fire in Sheepwash Lane, Tipton. And in Coventry, six crews - totalling an estimated 30 firefighters - have responded to a wildfire on Brownshill Green Road.
