MÉRIDA, Yucatán — A 21-year-old driver caused a dramatic traffic incident in the Ciudad Caucel neighborhood after losing control of his vehicle, crashing into two parked motorcycles, andslamming them into a local storefront. The accident occurred when the young motorist, driving a Nissan March along Calle 31, suddenly veered to the left. The vehicle struck two stationary motorcycles parked along the street. Due to the force of the impact, both motorcycles were launched onto the sidewalk. One of the bikes was propelled directly into the entrance of a nearby business, shattering the glass door.
