California Environmental Voters, the state's leading climate advocacy organization, announced its endorsement of Brian Goldsmith for state Senate in District 24. In backing Goldsmith, the group, known as EnviroVoters, cited his policy expertise and focus on addressing immediate climate pressures while mitigating future environmental risks. "Brian Goldsmith possesses the deep policy expertise and leadership needed to drive meaningful progress on the climate crisis," said Mary Creasman, CEO of California EnviroVoters. "Brian will be the steadfast partner we need in Sacramento to deliver real results for our frontline communities, accelerate our clean energy transition, protect California's coastlines, rebuild from devastating wildfires, hold polluters accountable and protect public health for generations to come." Goldsmith is running in the open race to succeed Sen. Ben Allen in 2026.
