(Bloomberg) -- President Donald Trump's latest move to restrict automatic citizenship is facing a legal challenge, months after the Supreme Court knocked down his earlier attempt at upending longstanding guarantees for children born in the US to non-citizens. The American Civil Liberties Union and other immigration advocacy groups filed the challenge to Trump's new executive action before a New Hampshire federal judge handling the earlier birthright citizenship fight, who had approved that case as a class action. The challenge in the New Hampshire is focused on the citizenship eligibility issue. Trump's original executive action to deny citizenship to newborns of undocumented immigrants and temporary visitors was struck down in June by the Supreme Court.
