For years, the Atlanta Falcons have been trying to get over the hump and make their first playoff appearance since 2018. They're locked in some of their key players already this offseason, and that's just the start of building a competitive team for years to come. Throughout the past few years, the team has signed players here and there who can help them, such as Jessie Bates III. Last season, the Falcons finally saw their hard work pay off on defense and were second in the league in sacks. As much as building through the draft and signing role players is important, getting big-time players is what changes the team's trajectory.
