Shimmering Hanover completes winning hat trickShimmering Hanover (Captain Corey), after rallying from eighth at three-quarters to harness racing victory a week ago, made an earlier move to similar success in the $24,000 featured conditioned trot at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Monday, Aug. 10.
Shimmering Hanover hit the top at the half in :57.3, the third lead change after the quarter, and trotted to three-quarters in 1:26.3 with Dusty Roads (Tyler Borth) taking aim first-up.
McClure maintained a firm hold on Shimmering Hanover as the filly powered home in :28, building separation to Dusty Roads late to score in 1:54.3.
Dusty Roads finished third.
