ReadID is now listed in the Digital Verification Services (DVS) register for the component and orchestration roles, following an audit by the Kantara Initiative. The audit was carried out under Digital Identity and Attributes Trust Framework (DIATF) version 0.4 (gamma). The UK’s emerging digital identity market went through a period of chaos under Prime Minister Kier Starmer, whose proposed national digital ID threatened to undermine the market for digital identity services from the private sector and ultimately contributed to his exit from the PM role.
