WSc GM Robert Deal and Deputy General Manager Cyprian GibsonNassau, The Bahamas: The Water and Sewerage Corporation (WSC) has saved Bahamians millions of dollars through the enhancement of the Windsor Wellfield, according to Deputy General Manager Cyprian Gibson. In 2024, that increased from 315 million gallons rising again to 367 million gallons in 2025. “Over the three-year period, we have saved about $5 million in water purchases of the more expensive, more energy intensive reverse osmosis water.” The Windsor Wellfield located near the Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA) is the original source of water supply for New Providence. It is a natural water resource that supplements 20 percent of the capital’s water supply.
