Omar McFarleneKINGSTON, Jamaica — Pure National Limited, Jamaica’s leading ice manufacturer and one of the biggest in the English-speaking Caribbean, which produces and distributes brands including Pure National Ice, Happy Ice & Happy Water, has named Omar McFarlane as its new chief executive officer. McFarlane previously served as operations manager for the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF). McFarlane is coming in to lead that comeback day-to- day, getting the company back to full strength and setting it up for what’s next. At the JFF, he worked his way from youth ambassador to general team manager to operations manager. That mix of ownership experience and hands-on leadership under real pressure is exactly what makes him the right fit to lead Pure National through to this next chapter.
