The contract is intended to speed up the development and support of TAGM weapon systems, including Hellfire. Trinzic, the business slated to be spun off from KBR’s Mission Technology Solutions, has secured a cost-plus-fixed-fee task order estimated at $208m to continue its work supporting the US Army’s Tactical Aviation and Ground Munitions (TAGM) portfolio. Announced on 10 August 2026, the five-year agreement extends the company’s involvement as prime contractor for a key segment of the Army’s munitions and aviation modernisation strategy. The scope includes a range of weapon systems, among them HELLFIRE and Joint Air-to-Ground Missiles (JAGM), Javelin and TOW anti-tank missiles, Hydra rockets, Long-Range Precision Munitions (LRPM), as well as newer rocket and containerised weapon systems. This coordinated approach aims to speed up the development, deployment, and operational support of these munitions.
