Community members, cottagers and others from the area joined together to support North Hastings Hospital Fund Development through an annual event that raises funds for the local hospital.
North Hastings District Hospital Auxiliary Radiothon wrapped up its 18th edition last weekend with favourable weather in Bancroft for the volunteers who donate their time and locals and visitors who donated their money.
“Michelle and Mike from MooseFM were wonderful ambassadors for the event,” Speck said.
The beautiful weather was a bonus for the volunteers, auxiliary members, friends and family.”
Moose FM morning announcer Michelle Somerville said while it is always exciting for Vista Radio staffers to get out into the community, the north Hastings hospital auxiliary radiothon brings a special kind of connection.
