Rangareddy: Ahead of the proposed GHMC elections, the issue of Layout Regularization Scheme (LRS) has picked up pace again especially in Shamshabad Zone, an area already grappling with the G.O 111 for a longtime.
Officials from Shamshabad, Adibatla, Badangpet and Jalpally under newly formed Shamshabad Zone went into huddle on Tuesday to discuss the issue of pending LRS applications and the modalities to clear them without further delay.
It is learned that the Zonal Commissioner, while reviving the status of the LRS scheme, has instructed the officials to expedite the disposal of LRS applications and ensure speedy collection of fee from the applicants.
She also instructed the officials to focus on pending applications and take all necessary measures for speedy disposal.
The Zonal Commissioner asked the officials to pay special attention to dispose of LRS applications through reviewing pending cases and achieve the target within the stipulated time.
