The changes, announced by the Presidency on Tuesday, August 11, are aimed at strengthening the operations of the National Security Council Secretariat. General William Ayamdo, former Chief of Army Staff, has been appointed Deputy National Security Coordinator (Operations). Former National Security Coordinator, Yaw Donkor, has also been appointed Director of Intelligence and Research at the Office of the National Security Advisor.
