Santa Barbara Public Library invites community members to help guide the library’s next chapter by attending one of three upcoming workshops and tell library leaders what’s working, what’s missing, and what they would like to see more of. “Whether you’re a lifelong library lover, a student, a parent, or are just curious – your ideas matter,” library officials said. All ages are welcome, light refreshments will be provided, and Spanish language interpretation will be available. Workshops are facilitated by LegacyWorks Group, an independent local nonprofit, to ensure an open and impartial conversation. Santa Barbara Public Library, established in 1882, offers free access to books, technology, programs, and resources for all.
