N650bn FAAC For Osun In Three Years Does Not Match Infrastructure On Ground, Oyebamiji Alleges

New Telegraph
The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), has questioned the impact of over N650 billion received by the state from the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) in the last three years, arguing that the funds are not reflected in infrastructure and development across the state.
AdvertisementAccording to him, Oyetola left about N15 billion in the state treasury, contrary to allegations that the administration handed over an empty purse.
Oyebamiji said Osun received only about N450 billion during the combined 12-year APC administrations of Rauf Aregbesola and Oyetola, while the Adeleke government has reportedly received N650 billion in about three and a half years.

he asked, insisting that the level of development on ground does not correspond with the resources available to the current administration.
