Hollyoaks unveiled a menacing cliffhanger involving Jonah Keane, with the village newcomer going to extreme lengths to control people as a celebratory party turned into a nightmare. Jonah arrived in Cheshire earlier this year with Beth, Caleb and Maddox, and has appeared affable as he made several friends. Tuesday's (11 August) instalment began in the aftermath of the revelation, with Jonah preparing a BBQ to celebrate the birthday of his late wife. At the same time, Jonah tried his best to explain his actions to Caleb. He said that this had only pushed him away further, and reiterated his desire to move away with Frankie.
