(WISH) — Brownsburg will soon become the most recent of central Indiana communities to consider implementing a wheel tax on all drivers. According to a meeting agenda available on the Town of Brownsburg’s website, the ordinance outlines a proposal for a municipal vehicle excise surtax and a municipal wheel tax. On Monday, the Indianapolis City-County Council overturned a previous veto by Mayor Hogsett to move forward with a citywide wheel tax. Thursday’s council meeting is set for 7 p.m. at the Brownsburg Town Hall.
