Fulton Brewing announced Tuesday it is buying Bemidji Brewing and launching a new multi-brand company called True North Beverage, whose other labels will include Finnegan's beer and N*RC Sparkling THC Waters. Bemidji's brewery had already partnered with Fulton three years ago to produce some of its beers, in lieu of building its own new production facility. Bemidji Brewing's taproom on America Avenue in its namesake city's downtown will still operate and brew in-house beers under new ownership with Fulton Brewing. Unlike Bemidji Brewing, Finnegan's remains independently owned. Like Finnegan's, though, Petz believes Bemidji Brewing is a strong enough brand to bank on, even during the current industry woes.
