The Washington Commanders have selected a joint venture of Clark Construction, Mortenson and Smoot Construction Company of Washington, D.C., to construct a new NFL stadium in the nation’s capital, according to a press release from the franchise.
It constructed the $1.9 billion Allegiant Stadium for the Las Vegas Raiders in a JV with St. Louis-based McCarthy.
Construction on the new stadium will begin in spring 2027, and is expected to wrap in spring 2030.
