The Stockdale Independent School District (ISD) invites applications from eligible households for free and reduced-priced meals for district students. The district began on July 27 to distribute letters to households of the children in the district regarding eligibility benefits. Children in households receiving benefits from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) are eligible. Additionally, foster children, migrant children, children who are enrolled in Head Start or Even Start, and those who meet the income guidelines of the program based on the Federal Income Chart, are eligible.
