The same shopping center houses a Whole Foods Market location, J-Prime Steakhouse, Sushishima and the Northside Black Swan Yoga studio. Mia’s Mexican Grill plans to spend $800,000 on the renovations, which are expected to get underway in early October and wrap up in May 2027, Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation documents show. The Current reached out to the owners of Mia’s Mexican Grill for comment on the expansion but got no immediate response. Founded in 2012, Mia’s Mexican Grill is family-owned and operated, according to its website.
