A major media company is moving its advertising headquarters to Broadway.
Comcast Advertising, the advertising sales and technology division of Comcast, has signed a 140,000-square-foot lease at 1540 Broadway, owned by GFP Real Estate and BDT & MSD Partners.
The deal represents a relocation for Comcast from 55 West 46th Street, according to the landlords, which landed a couple other tenants at 1540 Broadway recently as well.
“Tenants continue to gravitate toward buildings that combine exceptional ownership, modern amenities, efficient floor plates and premier accessibility, and 1540 Broadway has emerged as one of the strongest examples of that trend,” Finney said in a statement.
The Comcast lease was revealed in a CBRE office report for the month of July, but details were scarce.
