The Nordstrom Rack store that closed earlier this summer at the Gardiner Manor Mall in Bay Shore will be reopening “as soon as possible,” a Nordstrom Rack representative told Greater Long Island. “We don’t have specific details to share on the closure or reopening currently,” wrote Nordstrom Rack spokesperson Gianna Giacomino, in an email. One of the major anchors at the reinvigorated Gardiner Manor, Nordstrom Rack officially opened in Bay Shore on June 13, 2024. (The Nordstrom Rack in Huntington Station that was adjacent to Walt Whitman Mall closed in the spring of 2021.) Nordstrom Rack has since opened stores in Holbrook and Lake Grove.
