According to the Allen County Sheriff’s Office, a four-year-old child has died following a fatal electrocution involving a home appliance. The child reportedly came in contact with a dryer and met its tragic end. Authorities have not yet released the names of the deceased child or the parents, citing the ongoing nature of the investigation. According to the media release from the Sheriff’s office, emergency responders were alerted Thursday night around 9:30 p.m. when the child’s parents called 911. “On Thursday evening, August 6, 2026, the Allen County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a 4-year-old child not breathing.”
