Tumakuru: Deputy Chief Minister and Revenue Minister G. Parameshwara on Tuesday visited Yaduvanahalli in C.S. Pura hobli of Gubbi taluk and inspected a drinking water borewell drilled under the emergency action plan. He directed officials to closely monitor the situation and ensure that people in rural areas do not face drinking water shortages. With several areas facing drought-like conditions, Parameshwara said ensuring adequate drinking water supply to rural communities should remain a priority. The visit was part of the government’s efforts to assess drought conditions and review the availability of drinking water and irrigation facilities in affected parts of Tumakuru district.
