Ajša Sivka was the last Kentucky women’s basketball player to arrive on campus this summer, but she comes to Lexington with more experience than most. Already 20 years old, Sivka has won individual awards representing her home country over the last few years. Most recently, she was battling against players several years her elder in the highest level of competition in Spain. “With my size, I think I’m gonna have a lot of advantages throughout the year,” Sivka said at Kentucky WBB Media Day last month. And if a smaller guard is matched on her, Brooks wants her to take that defender into the post.
