LILONGWE APRIL 19, 2016 (CISA) – The Catholic Women Organization (CWO) is set to host the World Union of Catholic Women Organization (WUCWO) from August 29 to September 5, 2016. While confirming this, CWO National Chairlady Ms. Bernadette Chiwaya, said delegates from 22 African countries are expected to participate. The closing Mass will be at Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe on Sunday, September 5. The last WUCWO conference was held in Fatima Portugal in 2014 whereas the last WUCWO Africa region conference was held in Nigeria in February 2013. The conference is expected to host 200 international delegates and 250 local delegates.
