In a press release, GHMC said the 10-day special monsoon drive was launched with intensive civic and sanitation activities taken up in 30 wards. The drive focused on improving sanitation, fixing potholes, strengthening public health measures and creating awareness among citizens. “34.9 MT of pruned tree branches and 9 MT of dry and green waste from 31 parks were lifted during the drive,” according to the press release.
