According to Spirit of Shankly, Liverpool said it would be prepared to meet with the Supporters Board if the proposed investment became more formalized. FSG confirmed in July that a consortium led and represented by Bhatia had expressed interest in making a strategic minority investment in Liverpool. The proposed transaction would reportedly value the Premier League club at around $6 billion, making a 30% stake worth approximately $1.8 billion.
