New Delhi : The Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI), New Delhi, functioning under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) and the Ministry of Ayush, inaugurated a new Extension Outpatient Department (OPD) in the city today. Located at FC-5, Block-A, Sector-28 in Rohini, the newly opened facility aims to strengthen the delivery of accessible, quality, and evidence-based Ayurvedic healthcare services to residents of Rohini and its adjoining areas. Expanding the Reach of Traditional Medicine Addressing the gathering at the launch, Prof. Acharya reiterated CCRAS’s strong commitment to making quality Ayurvedic healthcare services more accessible to the general public. Additionally, insights regarding the administrative setup and infrastructure of the new Extension OPD were shared by Shri Deepak Kochhar, Deputy Director (Administration) of CCRAS, and Shri M. Shivkumar Reddy, Superintendent Engineer of CPWD. Aligning with the Ministry of Ayush’s Vision The opening of this Extension OPD is closely aligned with the Ministry of Ayush’s continued efforts to strengthen the broader Ayush healthcare ecosystem.
