For the fourth season, Murphy and Brennan will depict the August 1892 murders of Andrew Borden and his wife Abby. If the first trailer is any indication, the new season of Monster won't see it that way. At the end of the trailer, Lizzie cradles an axe while standing against a blood-red background as wind lovingly caresses her hair. The Lizzie Borden Story also continues the Monster tradition of casting big names. As in the third season, every episode of Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story was written by Ian Brennan.
