The Grand Ole Opry, the world's longest-running live broadcast show, will mark its birthday with a four-day celebration in Nashville, Tennessee, running from Oct. 1 through Oct. 4. The weekend will bring together a mix of Opry members and guest performers across several shows, including two performances on Saturday night. Founded in 1925, the Opry typically presents between three and seven shows each week at the Opry House, blending longtime members with rising country talent. A highlight of the weekend is the exclusive Opry Birthday Tailgate Party with Rhett Akins, scheduled for 2 p.m. Central Time on Saturday, Oct. 2, in Studio A. Akins, an Opry member-elect, will host the event and perform a set of his No. Tickets for the tailgate are priced at $25, including taxes and fees, and are available now through the Opry's official ticketing site.
