Raipur: A trainee Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Rahul Bansal is at the centre of an alleged Rs 1 crore corruption case. The allegations have been raised against the 2022-batch officer, who had his first field posting in Chhattisgarh. ADVERTISEMENTAccording to the report, Bansal was working as an Income Tax Inspector before joining the IPS and he was posted as a CSP officer in Chhattisgarh. The court has sought an Action Taken Report from the DGP of Chhattisgarh and the director of the CBI. According to the complaint, Rs 1 crore bribe was not paid in a single transaction.
