Paralakhemundi,(Tarini Prasad Panda): A woman was reportedly arrested by a team of West Bengal Police from Paralakhemundi in Gajapati district in connection with the alleged kidnapping of a minor girl from North 24 Parganas district. Acting on the investigation, a team of Habra Police reached Paralakhemundi and, with the assistance of local police, traced and apprehended the woman. Sources said the woman had allegedly been in contact with the minor through Instagram. The investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances under which the minor allegedly came to Paralakhemundi and the role of the woman in the case. The West Bengal Police reportedly conducted the woman’s medical examination before taking her to West Bengal for further investigation.
