Allen Park — Even though safety Kerby Joseph has not been around the Detroit Lions' practice facility as he deals with a personal issue, head coach Dan Campbell is still confident that he's on the same recovery timeline as fellow starter Brian Branch.
Campbell also noted that he doesn't expect Joseph, who's dealing with a lingering knee injury that limited him to six games last season, to be ready to play in Week 1.
Safety Kerby Joseph, who is on the PUP list, works out on his own during Lions training camp.
Joseph and Branch have both been spotted working off to the side at practice with the team trainers, running up the outdoor hill.
