One of the bigger wildcards on the current Chicago Bears defense is what version of Grady Jarrett the franchsie is going to get. This version of Jarrett didn't show up a season ago as knee injuries and poor performance defined the veteran's debut season with the franchsie. This allows fans to remember the knee injury suffered last season and leaves reason to speculate that Jarrett was consistently playing hurt a season ago. While there is not yet any level of trust based on the performance a season ago, fans have reason for hope and excitement that a page turn is coming. The best version of Jarrett would push the Bears' defensive line into respectability and give the unit a chance to be far more productive than current expectations.
