Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has appealed to United States President Donald Trump and the international community to pay close attention to the forthcoming Osun State governorship election. The singer made the appeal in a post on his X account on Tuesday, directly tagging Trump and calling for international attention to the election. He said the people of Osun State should be allowed to exercise their constitutional right to vote freely and peacefully without fear. Davido also urged the United States and other members of the international community to encourage relevant Nigerian authorities to protect voters and ensure that every vote cast is respected. Uzodimma is the chairman of the All Progressives Congress national campaign council for the Osun governorship election.
