Karachi – The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) has called for the transformation of all 32 divisions across the country into empowered administrative units, arguing that decentralisation is essential to bringing governance, resources and basic services closer to the people.
Kamal also sought to clarify that the MQM-P’s demand for additional administrative units in Sindh should not be viewed as an attempt to divide the province.
Under the MQM-P’s proposed system, he said, Sindh’s seven divisions should be converted into seven separate administrative units.
The MQM-P leader also expressed concern over the deteriorating condition of industrial areas in Karachi and other parts of the country.
The MQM-P leader also condemned the murder of Mir Raza Ali and expressed condolences to his family.
