The ambassador, however, cautioned against complacency, stressing that the improvement in political and strategic relations should now be converted into a stable and long-term partnership. Economic cooperation could provide a more sustainable foundation for bilateral ties by expanding trade, investment and business engagement between Pakistan and the United States. The United States remains an important partner for Pakistan because of its economic influence, strategic position and extensive links with the Pakistani-American community. It is to navigate a changing regional order while maintaining enough diplomatic flexibility to work with the United States, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye and other important partners simultaneously.
