COUNTY News:The Community Services Department, in partnership with Groundwork Studio, has completed the initial public listening sessions for the Grand Canyon Playground project. The next community engagement meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2026, at Fire Station #3 in White Rock. Community participation is an important part of the planning process. Residents, neighbors, families, and park users are encouraged to attend the presentation, review the conceptual design options, learn more about the ideas being considered, and provide feedback to help shape the future of the Grand Canyon Playground.
